INTI
CARDOSO
GARCÍA
In 1989, he began his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education at the Félix Varela Higher Pedagogical Institute of Santa Clara, as well as studying Spanish guitar at the same conservatory. With advanced studies under his belt and being based in the provincial capital, he began playing in small groups at a professional level, also standing out as a concert guitarist.
During his time performing on various stages, he was invited to join the Orquesta Mango Show, with which he secured a five-year contract performing in Spain. Mango Show, an orchestra backed by European production, specializes in national and international music concerts, playing at festivals, open-air celebrations (verbenas), and events across different towns and cities throughout Spain. The group had a prominent performance at the San Mateo festivities in Oviedo, Asturias, representing the flavor of Cuban music.
The experience gained in that orchestra served as a springboard for his personal refinement, during which he researched the essence of different musical genres and the art of how to express them—an experience he channels today as a Spanish guitar soloist.
Since 2001, he has been based in Jávea, Alicante, working hard on various personal projects. Integrating his musical knowledge while never leaving behind his Cuban roots, he dedicates himself to music education to combine his art with that of the Mediterranean, conceiving a process of transculturation.
His artistry with the six strings has allowed his experience to touch the hearts of those who listen to him, performing in various restaurants, event venues, parties, and gatherings. Today, he shares the stage with different national and international guests, offering an extensive musical journey from Latin rhythms to Anglo-Saxon music, and from classical to jazz, always adding the personal touch and style that characterizes him.
Inti Cardoso currently continues his career as an independent musician, focusing more on popular dance music without setting aside his classical guitar technique, and fusing it with the electric guitar in some of his performances.
